This Natural White Lace Insertion is 1/2". This Lace Insertion can be used with other laces or purchase more of the Flower Set it belongs to. A very pretty lace. I used this Lace Set on my Jeannie B's Antique Baby Dress (and student kits) when I taught at Saga Convention 2024.It's very sweet. #888 (Natural White means no bleach was used on this lace so it is a soft white rather than a brilliant white)
All Lace is Priced "By the Yard" and must be purchased in yard increments. (such as 1 yard, 2 yards etc. buying as many yards as you desire)

Fine French Lace is made from 90% cotton with poly added for strength to keep it from breaking during the manufacturing process. Because of this a HOT iron is not recommended when pressing lace. Most lace will have a "heading". These are threads at the top of the lace which can be used to gather the lace. When possible, I like to use the top 2 threads for gathering because it gives better control of the gathers for stitching.
When you are purchasing lace when you don't have a particular project in mind, it is recommended that you buy 3 - 5 yards so you will have a sufficient amount when you find a garment worthy of the lace:)
