Daydress with Lace trimmed Hem.  This is a beautiful little dress with a touch of Smocking at the front and sleeves with lace edging at the hem.Kit includes materials to make this dress in size Infant or 3-6 Months. Pattern not included.

Kit includes: Fabric of the finest Dotted Swiss available in  soft blue or pink.  French Lace edging for neck and sleeves and hem. Swiss entredeux for the neck.  Floss in Pink, blue and green.  Mother of Pearl buttons included.

Pattern is "Baby's Smocked Layette" .  This pattern is pleater compatable and includes pleating instructions and smocking instructions.  If you do not own a pleater, you can purchase iron on dots to pleat the fabric by hand.

Must have "Baby's Smocked Layette" pattern by The Old Fashioned Baby to make this dress.

You will need #65 machine needles

Madeira #80 thread in white for sewing lace

DMC #50 thread in white for construction

 Choose Blue Dotted Swiss or Pink Dotted Swiss.
